Our client is a main contractor providing EPC services to clients in the Power Sector.

The Commercial Director (Head of Commercial) will support the Sector Commercial Director in the management of resources and succession planning. Extensive and proven proficiency in the commercial field is required, gained through deep and broad experience with specific capability in the management of power infrastructure projects. Disciplined and commercially astute with the ability to identify, analyse and develop responses to commercial risks, taking ownership and responsibility. The Commercial Director shall be accountable for compliance with the Company’s governance and ensuring that any contract specific requirements are adhered to. Excellent stakeholder management skills are a must, along with highly developed skills to motivate, inspire and persuade. Must be able to use judgment and experience to help with the development of new/improved Company procedures and on the translation of policy into operational plans.

The role isnt bound by location, as it is envisaged that there will be a requirement to operate remotely with Office and site visits required. The role has the potential to sit outside of IR35 on initial assessment.
