Job Title: Waterway Operative (Toddbrook Reservoir - Whaley Bridge)

Location: Toddbrook Reservoir, Whaley Bridge

Shift Pattern: 4 days on / 4 days off

Hours: 10–12 hours per day (depending on weather conditions)

• Optional night shifts are available, with overtime rates applied.

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Waterway Operative to assist in the management of water levels at Toddbrook Reservoir. This role is critical for maintaining safe water levels, particularly during adverse weather conditions, and involves on-site monitoring and management. Full Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and tools provided.

Key Responsibilities:

• Actively monitor and manage water levels through electronic data systems, visual inspections, and valve operations.
• Be on-site during periods of rising water levels to ensure proactive control and management.
• Perform various tasks in and around Whaley Bridge and Bugsworth Basin during quieter weather periods.
