About the Role
We are partnering with an internationally recognised infrastructure consultancy seeking a talented and experienced Principal or Associate Landscape Architect. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic and active Landscape & Urban Design team, delivering diverse and high-profile projects across the public and private sectors.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving excellence in landscape architecture and visual impact assessments (LVIAs), managing projects, and mentoring junior team members while contributing to business development activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the authoring and coordination of Landscape and Visual Impact Assessments (LVIAs).
- Foster and strengthen client relationships, engaging with both existing and prospective clients across public and private sectors.
- Prepare and manage bids for projects, ranging from small-scale initiatives to complex, multi-disciplinary proposals.
- Manage and delegate project tasks effectively, mentoring and supporting junior team members to ensure high-quality outputs.
- Organize and lead workshops and stakeholder engagement events.
Key Requirements
- A Postgraduate Diploma/Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture (or an equivalent qualification recognized within the field).
- Proven expertise in Landscape Planning, including a strong track record of delivering LVIAs.
- Demonstrated ability to understand client needs and translate these into comprehensive scopes of work and fee proposals.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop others.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with experience leading workshops or engaging with stakeholders.
