Senior Quantity Surveyor

Our client is a Leeds based with Quantity Surveying as their core business. They have grown steadily in size and reputation over the past 30 years and have a team of 30 staff who are involved in delivering projects ranging in value from £50K to £250 million.

Due to an increase in their work load they are looking for Senior Quantity Surveyors and Associate Directors to join their company.

They work on projects across a variety of sectors to include:

• Science
• Residential (Including PRS)
• Site infrastructure
• Commercial & Office
• Retail
• Hotel & Leisure
• Manufacturing

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and manage budgets.
• Lead and manage project teams
• Administer contracts and manage tender processes.
• Conduct risk management and value engineering assessments.
• Monitor and report on project costs and progress.
• Provide expert advice on cost management and procurement strategies.

Qualifications/Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Professional membership (e.g., RICS, AIQS, etc.) preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in quantity surveying.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
