Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Plumber to undertake various plumbing tasks and general maintenance within a large office building. This role is part of a Facilities Management team responsible for ensuring the operational efficiency of the premises.

Key Responsibilities

Perform plumbing maintenance, repairs, and installations in accordance with industry standards.

Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure the plumbing system remains in optimal condition.

Respond to emergency plumbing issues promptly and effectively.

Carry out general maintenance tasks as required within the facility.

Work in compliance with health and safety regulations and company procedures.

Participate in an on-call rota (1 in 3 weeks) and provide support as needed.

Key Skills & Qualifications

Minimum City & Guilds qualification or equivalent in Plumbing.

Previous experience working in large office buildings preferred.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or within a team.

Good understanding of health and safety regulations related to plumbing and maintenance.

Additional Requirements

Security Clearance: As this is a Government building, successful candidates must undergo:

Basic DBS check upon recruitment.

CTC (Counter-Terrorism Check), which will be conducted while in the role (ONS requirement).

Residency Requirement: Must have resided in the UK for at least 3 years (ONS requirement).

Drug & Alcohol Testing: A test will be conducted within the first month of placement for critical roles.

Company Knowledge: Candidates must demonstrate an understanding of VINCI FM and its role at ONS during the interview process.
