A Fantastic Opportunity for a ConstructionManager to head up our Civils team within our Rail Division. You’ll be managing various civils projects from minor drainage installations to major civils projects. You’ll be based out our Aylesford office, working on some exciting project for our biggest customers in the rail and Water industry both inside and outside the rail infrastructure.

What’s the role:
- Management of Network Rail and rail related infrastructure contracts, ensuring KPIs are met
- Liaising with client personnel and representing CML at client deliverability meetings
- Collaborating with Works Delivery Managers, ensuring the day-to-day work bank is planned and resourced
- Overseeing and driving a robust programme of works, ensuring they are planned and resourced effectively
- Liaise with Works Delivery Managers and the Commercial team, to review estimate submissions and final account details - analysing trends and reporting on delivery performance
- Providing technical support, guidance and practical advice to Works Delivery Managers, ensuring competent execution of the work bank from both a permanent and temporary works perspective
- Managing the front-end design process to ensure design deliverables are met in line with client expectations and programme milestones
- Preparing and implementing site specific management plans, ensuring site activities comply with Health and Safety, Quality and Environmental policies.

What you’ll need:
Professionally qualified to degree or HNC level or equivalent relevant experience.
Up to date knowledge and understanding of CDM and health and safety regulations
Evidence of the successful development and delivery of projects to time, cost and quality. A recognised project management qualification is desirable.
Evidence of managing relationships with multiple stakeholders and the ability to influence for positive outcomes.
Evidence of commercial skills with proven ability to manage contracts to deliver outcomes and drive value for money (experience of NEC contracts is desirable)
Highways or rail experience would be advantages.
