Risk & Controls Specialist
Location: Hybrid – Nottingham
Rate: £550-£600 per day (Inside IR35)
Contract: Until end of November 2025
We’re partnering with a global financial markets organisation to find a specialist in Risk and Controls, to strengthen their data governance and control frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
✔️ Lead the control improvements to drive regulatory compliance for all operational resiliency regulations.
✔️ Identify risks within data processes and develop robust control frameworks. Ensure policy assurance activities, risk quality checking and executing control assessments.
✔️ Work closely with stakeholders to ensure data integrity, security, and compliance.
✔️ Support audits and regulatory requirements by providing data governance insights.
✔️ Drive process improvements and best practices in data management.
Requirements:
Strong expertise in data governance, risk management, and analytics controls.
Experience working in regulated environments with a strong understanding of compliance frameworks.
Ability to assess, design, and implement data control measures.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Experince in an Audit function or Big 4 Consulting firm is desirable.
Knowledge of DORA regulations is desirable.
