Overview:

We’re hiring a Security Solution Architect to join a forward-thinking and fully in-house cyber security function at a major critical national infrastructure organisation which have a meaningful impact. With full control of their cyber security strategy and a culture of collaboration and innovation, this business offers a unique opportunity to help shape and embed future-ready security solutions.

As part of a significant transformation programme, you’ll design and develop secure, scalable architectures across IT and OT environments - supporting both the enterprise and industrial sides of the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and develop security architecture and technology roadmaps
  • Design high- and low-level architecture for security solutions across cloud, on-prem, and OT environments
  • Provide delivery assurance and technical guidance throughout implementation phases
  • Align solutions with enterprise architecture and compliance requirements (e.g. ISO 27001, NIS, IEC 62443)
  • Work cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners to ensure security is embedded by design

Essential Skills:

  • Deep understanding of infrastructure, networking, and cloud security principles
  • Experience designing secure systems and documenting architecture standards
  • Strong grasp of security frameworks (e.g. TOGAF, NIS, CIS Controls)
  • Comfortable influencing a range of technical and non-technical stakeholders

Desirable:

  • Exposure to OT or critical national infrastructure environments
  • Security certifications such as CISSP, SABSA, SANS etc.
