We’re looking for a Data Analyst Based at our Stoke Poges site location you’ll extract valuable insights from the organisation wide data assets. The Data Analyst will be responsible for collecting, analysing, and interpreting complex data sets to support data-driven decision-making across the functions / departments within Urenco. Expertise in data manipulation, statistical analysis, and data visualisation will be pivotal in driving strategic initiatives and optimizing business performance.

What you’ll do:
• Gather data from various sources, ensuring its accuracy, completeness, and integrity. Clean, validate, and transform raw data into a consistent format for analysis.
• Apply statistical methods and data modeling techniques to extract actionable insights.
• Interpret and present findings to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
• Develop reports, dashboards, and visualisations to communicate analytical results effectively.
• Provide data-driven recommendations to improve decision-making processes.
• Develop and implement data quality checks and validation processes.
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy throughout the organisations systems.
• Identify opportunities to optimise data collection, analysis, and reporting processes.
• Propose and implement enhancements to streamline workflows and increase efficiency.
What do you need to thrive in this role?
• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or Computer Science or minimum 5 year’s industry experience in Data & Analytics
• Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role, preferably in a business or technical environment
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise, analyse, and interpret complex data sets
• Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis using SQL, Python, R, or other relevant tools
• Familiarity with data visualisation tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms
• Knowledge of statistical concepts and experience applying statistical techniques (e.g., regression analysis, hypothesis testing).
• Solid understanding of database management systems and data warehousing principles
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to deliver accurate results within deadlines
• Strong communication skills to convey complex findings in a clear and understandable manner
• Proactive problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently as well as part of a team
