POSITION SUMMARY:

Overseeing the Operations service area to ensure production and productivity targets are met.
Understanding the need to produce to meet customer SLA’s and to the expected quality.
You must be knowledgeable and skilled in a range of operational tasks related to parts, people and process.
A strong communicator, problem solver and able to lead and develop a team.

RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES:

Meeting all production/performance targets set by the Production/Program Manager
Lead and manage the operations supervisory team.
Ensuring that documentation and work instructions are followed and fully understood by both yourself and your team.
Capable of working with remote teams and interacting directly with the customer.
Intuitive of production needs, think proactively and come up with proposals how to improve production.
Prepare production reports (by hours and shift).
Ensure that all processes are always operated with respect to quality, environmental, health & safety and ESD requirements.
Working to reduce costs and increase productivity by making the best possible use of skills, process and consumables.
Instructing and training staff to maximise productivity and individual performance.
Maintaining order and line control, identifying problems as soon as possible.
Establishing and maintaining both positive and effective relationships with support staff and colleagues.
Ensuring that job rotation is effective and cross-training opportunities are maximised to improve performance and increase skill levels in the area under his / her control.
Ensure effective channels of communication with their teams to enhance their ability to influence their work.

EDUCATION / WORK EXPERIENCE:

2-5yrs related experience and/or training.
Proven ability to lead and motivate a diverse team of employees.
Excellent Microsoft Word, Email and Excel skills etc.
Equivalent combination of education and experience.
Excellent communication skills in writing and verbal communication with employees and customers.
