Logistics Operative - Driver - £27.12ph 3 on 4 off Umbrella. Full Rate Card and various shifts available

Morson are looking to recruit a Logistics Operative – HGV Driver on behalf of BAE Systems in Barrow. These contracts are initially 6 months with a strong potential for extension.
Candidates must be flexible to work shifts.

Job Description:

The role of HGV driver at BAE Systems is extremely varied and involves operating all sizes of vehicles from 3.5 tonne vans up to 44 Tonne HGV’s. The role involves delivering material that is required to support the production of products which can either be in the local area or in varying parts of the country. The role will involve shift work on various shift patterns.
An ideal candidate will have a depth of knowledge working within the transport industry as the work that is required is varied involving the use of various styles of HGV to support the different types of work that is undertaken.
Safety and compliance is the most important consideration to the BAE Transport operation and a mind-set that reflects this way of working will be advantageous to successful candidates

Qualifications
- C+E driving licence
- In date and valid digital tachograph
- In date and valid driver’s CPC certificate

Successful candidates will be required to gain Security clearance before eligible to start on site
