Logistics Operative

Morson are recruiting for a Logistics Operative on behalf of our client to start at their site in Barrow on a 12-month contract

What you’ll be doing:

• Managing stock and ordering stock. The accurate receipt, replenishment, issue, transfer and / or delivery of materials, tools and consumables using relevant Logistics systems and processes (including calibration and maintenance of equipment).
• Carry out inventory checks and undertake stock discrepancies activity to reconcile inventory records.

• Control and management of reverse logistics.
• Support loading and unloading of vehicles in a safe and timely manner and in line with company procedures.

Knowledge and skills required:

background would be desirable. Continuous improvement ideas would be beneficial. SAP knowledge/inventory management system desirable.

3on 4 off days
