Principal Mechanical Process Engineer

12 Month Contract (Inside IR35)

£70 up to £87 per hour umbrella

Mainly Remote (n site once every 6-8 weeks)

Job Requirements:

• Plant development background - ideally nuclear / oil and gas
• More Mechanical than process but with experience of the process side of things
• ISO drawings, stress calculations / verifications
• Support Drawings
• Team leadership experience

Essential:

• 6-8+ years’ experience of designing a mechanical services / process systems.
• Experience of working in a highly regulated industry, strong preference to nuclear.
• Understanding of hydraulic / pressure calculations.
• Understanding of hazard identification and analysis associated with process systems (e.g. HAZID, HAZOP etc)
• BEng/BSc in mechanical engineering or similar degree.
• Experience checking design documentation.
• Line management experience of 3+ direct reports.

Desirable:

• SC cleared already
• Masters’ education
• CEng or working towards
