Job Title: Senior Electrical Designer
Location: PLYMOUTH - 2 Days a week on site the rest is worked remotely
Job Type: Contract - 37Hrs a week.

Managing a small team and managing the designs that are produced by the design houses etc and facilitating those liaisons

• 80% supervision and management of subcontractors / design.
• Looking into the Technical requirements.
• Preference would be defence experience
• Would need considerable electric design experience

Job Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Designer to lead a small team and oversee electrical design work, both in-house and from external design houses. The role involves ensuring high-quality, compliant designs and managing the design process for complex engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a small team of designers.
Design Oversight: Ensure designs meet standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
Project Coordination: Work with internal teams and external stakeholders to meet project timelines.
Design Reviews: Conduct reviews to ensure alignment with objectives.
Quality Assurance: Maintain compliance with safety and quality standards.
Collaboration: Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to integrate designs.
