We are currently recruiting for Electrical Fitters for the temporary supplies department on-site at Devonport dockyard in Plymouth.
Duties will include:
Expected to install, maintain and test electrical installations, domestic, commercial and industrial.
Carry out responsive and preventative maintenance.
Carry out EICR’s and all associated remedial works.
Carry out fault finding.
Experience working on and testing switchboards and power pillars.
Ability to read technical drawings.
Good knowledge of various test equipment.
Knowledge of 3 phase systems is desirable.
Qualifications required for the role:
Testing and inspection qualifications are desirable.
Applicants must hold a minimum of City and Guilds Level 3 and also 18th Edition BS7671.
Hours of work - 07:30 - 15:45 Monday to Thursday and 07:30 - 13:30 on a Friday - 36 std hours a week, O/T and shift work a possibility.
6 month contract initially.
Pay Rate: £18.70/hour PAYE, £23.73 UMB + Radius Allowance.
