Job Title: PCB Designer

This position is based in the Hampshire area and offers flexible hybrid working patterns for site attendance and hours

Job Duties:

• Designing and developing printed circuit boards (PCBs) for aerospace, aviation, military, and defence applications
• Collaborating with engineers to understand project requirements and develop PCB layouts
• Selecting appropriate components and materials for PCB design
• Testing and troubleshooting PCB designs to ensure functionality and reliability
• Documenting design processes and specifications

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a PCB Designer in aerospace, aviation, military, or defence industries
• Proficiency in PCB design software and tools
• Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulations
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related field

Experience:

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in PCB design

Knowledge and Skills:

• Excellent understanding of PCB design principles
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Strong communication skills
• Experience with schematic capture and layout tools

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Certifications in PCB design
