We have an exciting new opportunity for a MECHANICAL QC INSPECTOR to be based at our clients premises in Berkshire.

An opportunity has arisen to join part of the Quality Control Team delivering works across the Defence and Asset Solutions Amentum Portfolio for AWE

About the Role:

An opportunity has arisen to join part of the Quality Assurance / Quality Control Team delivering works across the Clients Portfolio for AWE.
The role is a hybrid of both quality assurance and quality control, providing the successful applicant with opportunities to tackle complex quality issues in order to deliver excellence for our Client.
The successful candidate will be confident and comfortable in the production and review of technical / quality documentation as well as possessing the necessary qualifications to conduct ‘in-the-field’, front line weld, NDT and mechanical inspection.
We are seeking a candidate who possesses qualifications in mechanical, welding and NDT..
The successful candidate will be personable, adaptable and demonstrate the ability to positively engage with the self-delivery team, delivering constructive feedback whilst maintaining independence.
The Client values their relationships with our Supply Chain and as such the successful candidate must demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively with suppliers and sub-contractors in order to ensure statutory, regulatory and Client Requirements are met.
Must be able to positively engage with the Client, identifying their needs and working proactively to address these.
Working alongside a team of Nuclear Quality Professionals (both QC) across multi-disciplined scope.
Must have the ability to think innovatively, challenge the accepted and deliver improvements.
Reporting into the Quality Manager for the Client - AWE.
