We’re looking for Service Delivery Assistant. Based at our Gronau site in Germany, you’ll Support the development and implementation of the Asset Strategy through the delivery of centrifuge and core plant components in view of our refurbishment and new build challenges.
Urenco faces a period of re-investments in centrifuge technology (a key component of the uranium enrichment process) with refurbishment requirements at scales not seen before. The role of the Service Delivery Manager provides centrifuge matter expertise and manages Urenco’s total demand on goods and services towards its key supplier of centrifuges. This requires an overall Group approach to capture demand and requirements across the business and includes a Urenco-wide contract management approach with regard to the supplier.

What you’ll do:
• Support the development and implementation of the Asset Strategy through the delivery of centrifuge and core plant components in view of our refurbishment and new build challenges
• Provided programme assurance through the development, planning and co-ordination the refurbishment- and new build programmes with the core supplier and local project managers (i.e. in terms of timing, resources, cost etc.)
• Drives total cost of ownership in close co-operation with ETC through optimising the supply chain and the development of cost effective centrifuge manufacturing ramp-up solutions
• Centrally assists the ETC Service Delivery Manager in the overall demand management (on ETC resources, services and goods) from all areas of the business across the Urenco Group
• Ensures that Urenco’s commercial position is best protected and reflected in all contractual arrangements with ETC through applying industry good procurement practices such as negotiation skills, contract standards and strategies
What do you need to thrive in this role?
• Fluent spoken and written English (essential) plus one other European language (desirable)
• Technical education (i.e. engineering, maintenance)
• Bachelor / Master degree
• Management of multi-disciplined teams
• Contract management experience
• Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, scheduling, human resources modelling and coordination of people
• Robust programme management experience
• Project management, especially in the area of interface management desirable
• Thorough understanding and knowledge of technical background of how a programme runs
• Skilled in managing ambiguity and confident in taking accountability for creating supply chain solutions and technical supplier management
• Experience managing contractual relationships and managing diverse stakeholders internal and external
• Ability to analyse programme requirements, identify critical success factors and translate these into bespoke supply strategies
