Senior Mechanical Engineer - Dry Process Plant and Equipment

We have an exciting new opportunity for a SENIOR MECHANICAL ENGINEER (Dry Process Plant and Equipment) to be based at our clients premises in Cheshire.

We provide the front end design and engineering capability across the Programme and Project Partners (PPP) portfolio. As a result of increasing demand for our services, there are significant opportunities for you to support a key project within the nuclear business.

We are currently looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join the team in Birchwood.

You will be responsible for

Managing and directing designers in delivery of mechanical plant and equipment.
Prioritising work to support manufacturer schedules.
Working knowledge of plant layout, set up, installation and alignment of plant and equipment and machinery for works test, integrated test and site installation.
Writing and checking works test requirement documentation and Integrated works test documents for Plant, Equipment and machinery.
Interaction with CE&I engineers will be required to ensure complete multi-disciplinary interactions are addressed.
Writing and checking O&M manuals.
Experience in providing support to resolution of manufacturing, inspection and test. .Technical Queries/production permits/concessions.

What you will need:

Experience in the use of Auto desk inventor.
Experience in the use of Auto desk vault Basis or Vault Pro (file management).
Experience in production and checking of Design justification reports (DJRs).
Experience and working knowledge of safety cases.
Retrieval of information from DM desktop and other record management systems.
