£425 Day Rate Outside IR35
Hybrid Working
10 Month Contract (likely to be extended)

Reporting to the Supplier Relationship Management and Continuous Improvement Manager, the Supply Chain Performance and Compliance Analyst is expected to add significant value to the way UK Power Networks manages their supply chain.

The successful candidate will be involved in data analysis to support ongoing category management and provide input to produce various reports for senior stakeholders, including review of procurement KPI performance, delivery recording, spend reporting, client requirements, e.g. performance packs and contract compliance, ESG, business operations, mobilising of contractors.

We are looking for an individual committed to creating value for the business by thinking differently, proactively challenging the status quo and delivering exceptional customer service and to lead on the following initiatives:

Build collaborative relationships with our supply chain, disseminating compliance and performance information and sharing documentation, best practice and improving the working practices

Build client supply chain reporting to ensure performance and compliance and provide a premium service

Work on mobilising of contracts and contract improvement projects.

Facilitate key supply chain metric reports such as delivery performance, Environmental Social and Governance

Establish collaborative relationships with our supply-chain and other stakeholders through regular, transparent two-way communication

Support Supply Chain Management performance to continually improve performance

Key Responsibilities:
Facilitate the contract management process in accordance with the UK Power Networks policy

Generate and implement improvement plans including mobilisation of contractors and improvement projects

Use internal & external data sources to report contractor performance and provide analysis and insight to deliver market leading performance

Supply chain safety comms and safety reporting including consenting processes

Ensure the development of strategic relationships with third party suppliers

Aid with procurement delivery of events where required

Identify opportunities for supplier development activities

Provide guidance to future procurement events based on past experiences and analysis

Aid with the mobilisation process of new contractors

Act as an internal consultant to simplify and extrapolate value through the supply chain design

Support compliance and ESG of the procurement team

Facilitate client specific reporting

Material delivery reporting

Perform activities that evaluate and leverage relationships with category suppliers including supporting partnerships and alliances

Manage compliance to all business, governance and legislative policies, initiatives and processes including competition law, internal contract governance and portfolio boards.

Act as an internal consultant to simplify and extrapolate value through the supply chain design within bids

Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications, and Experience

Can do attitude, good attention to detail and a “completer” of actions and projects.

Build strategic relationships with clients, supply chain and senior stakeholders that show trust, collaborative working and business benefits

Learn of complex supply chains across construction works and/or electrical projects an advantage

Gain working knowledge of different contracting models and recognise improvement areas to develop into actionable continuous improvement projects.

Strong commercial acumen

Strong self-organisational capabilities

Ability to work under own initiative & demonstrate understanding of continuous improvement and team working

Good level of PC literacy, with the ability to learn and use a variety of systems with fast and accurate keyboard skills, including SAP and Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint

Ability to work in a pressured environment as part of a highly focused team

Able to influence & challenge internal stakeholders and co-workers, as well as the ability to decant measurable business needs

Learn Supplier relationship management

Learn Project and time management skills
