- Charge Rate per hour: £50-£65 dependant on experience/role/client

We have an extensive backlog of DSEAR work (Dangerous Substances and Explosive Atmospheres Regulations) across the UK in multiple markets. Bring your skills to the mix as a Senior DSEAR Engineer, youll play a critical role in supporting our engineering teams with a vital function on Transformational Programmes for critical UK infrastructure with opportunities to work on iconic engineering projects at home and abroad.

Your Purpose
- Lead a team to undertake technical design work following relevant design standards and codes, and to high-quality levels.
- Prepare briefs, scopes of work, and input into bid proposals.
- Successfully manage time and budgets to key project milestones and programmes.
- Work closely with teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions.
- Adhere to quality assurance standards in design.
What you can bring
- Chartered Engineer, ideally with training in hazardous area determination and risk assessment from a recognised body.
- Experience of the role of leading DSEAR in design delivery, ideally within the water industry, or a related process industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of the application of DSEAR, including risk assessment and area classification in accordance with EN 60079-10 and IP 15.
- Strong understanding of DSEAR legislation, ATEX directives and CDM
