As our client navigates this exciting period, it is crucial to build on existing talent while welcoming new professionals who can challenge and refine delivery methods. They uphold the highest standards of safety and excellence across all disciplines, and are currently seeking several Electrical Engineers to join their dynamic team and support their increased workload.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and specify low voltage (LV) electrical installations and distribution systems, including specifications, schedules, data sheets, and drawings.
Design and specify LV assemblies, such as motor control centres (MCC), LV switchboards, and control panels.
Review LV electrical designs produced by framework contractors, including electrical schematics, cable calculations, and termination diagrams.
Collaborate with technical teams, construction personnel, operations, suppliers, and utility companies on various issues.
Specify and select instrumentation based on process design requirements.
Skills and Experience Required:
To excel in this role, candidates should possess:
A minimum of HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
Current knowledge of the BS7671 IET Wiring Regulations (18th Edition).
Proven practical electrical design experience in a relevant industry.
A strong track record in the design and integration of process control, automation, and telemetry systems.
Excellent communication skills, enabling effective collaboration across all levels of the organization.
A commitment to continuous improvement and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Additional Requirements:
A full UK driving licence, as site visits will be necessary.
