We’re looking for Plant Reliability Manager. Based at our Capenhurst location, you’ll deliver the Chemical Processing Operations Asset Management and Plant Reliability Program, providing support in the development and alignment of Capenhurst with global policies, procedures and standards.

What you’ll do:
- Act as a member of the Maintenance and Reliability Lead team, accountable for defining the long term reliability strategy for Chemical Process Operations in order to support the long term Plant Objectives and Asset Management Program.
- Lead a team of reliability specialists to drive the program to develop and improve the analysis of plant performance to ensure all plant systems deliver their design intent and are optimised and improved to meet business needs
- Proactively develop the capability of the Reliability team through coaching and training via the Urenco PDP process
- Actively and tenaciously promote the UCP plant reliability program to embed a reliability culture throughout the whole organisation from design, procure, install and maintain
- Chairing the UCP reliability steering committee, driving forward actions to provide direct impact on UCP performance and throughput through application of the Reliability Action Plan – Reliability lead Performance.
- Support new project development by providing key reliability assessment support for the specification and procurement of new equipment, specify system performance requirements, and acceptance criteria for handover to the plants
What do you need to thrive in this role?
- Degree in relevant engineering discipline (preferably mechanical or Control and Instrumentation or equivalent experience
- Extensive experience within an engineering discipline and knowledge and experience within a highly regulated industry (eg Oil, Gas, Nuclear, Chemicals)
- Demonstrable experience of reliability analysis and continuous improvement techniques, eg. RCM, RCA, FMEA.
- Demonstrated experience of managing a team, in particular reliability improvement teams delivering step change improvements
- Knowledge of Asset Management processes and procedures and understanding of benchmark indicators for plant performance
- Good communicator and ability to create strong networks to enhance effectiveness and share knowledge
- Good understanding of plant equipment, systems and processes
