Planning Engineer

Anderselite are currently working with a tier 1 contractor who are seeking a Planning Engineer to be based in London. Job specification is as follows

Job Role

Our client is recruiting for a Planning Engineer to join their team working on the delivery of the infrastructure to support the regeneration of Enfield Councils £6Bn Meridian Water development.

This £120M project involves the remediation of the existing site and construction of roads, bridges and flood mitigation measures as well as electricity, gas, communications, water connections and hectares of new landscaped parkland areas.

Duties
- Weekly and monthly updates on programme/reporting
- Managing Contractor and Subcontract programmes
- Preparation / submission documents and reports
- Analysis and optimisation of labour resource and histograms
- Monitoring progress during construction, KPIs, re-programming if required.
- Preparation of compensation events programmes and narrative
- Attend review meetings as required
- Production and presentation of progress reports for programme submission
- Assist with procurement planning
- Presentation/dissemination of Project programme philosophy and strategy

Person Specification
- A recognised qualification within a relevant subject
- Previous experience in planning role on a major infrastructure/civil engineering project
- Main contractor experience ideally but will consider Tier 2 contractor experience
- P6 Primavera experience desirable
- NEC contract experience
