Senior Wastewater Network Modeller (Hybrid)
Location: Manchester
Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 per annum plus package (negotiable subject to experience)
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time/Flexible
A global engineering consultancy firm is seeking a Senior Wastewater Network Modeller to join permanently and work on high-impact projects collaborating with major water companies to deliver innovative, sustainable solutions that enhance water quality and address urban pollution challenges.
With a strong pipeline of exciting work and key framework successes for AMP8, you will become part of a thriving & ambitious team that drives excellence in wastewater and digital innovation. Responsibilities:
• Leading the delivery of diverse wastewater infrastructure projects, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
• Partnering closely with clients to communicate insights, processes, and outputs from advanced modelling.
• Inspiring and mentoring graduate modellers, guiding them through professional growth and technical mastery.
• Designing and overseeing flow survey programmes for comprehensive data collection.
• Taking the technical lead on model build and verification initiatives, driving project accuracy and success.
• Crafting, reviewing, and refining detailed technical reports and client presentations.
• Producing precise technical calculations to support project objectives as needed.
Requirements:
• Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or a related field (essential)
• Hold a chartered status with a relevant professional body e.g. ICE, CIWEM or aiming towards
• Previous experience working in a similar role on previous AMPS (desirable)
• Demonstrated experience leading drainage modelling projects using Info Works ICM.
• Proven track record delivering community focussed projects/solutions ensuring carbon reduction and sustainability.
• Proficient in coaching junior engineer, communication (both written and verbal), and interpersonal skills.
