We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee a portfolio of high-value projects within the Nuclear Industry. You will manage a range of complex contracts, ensuring the timely and successful delivery of turnkey solutions. These projects will include PLC/SCADA technology integration, hardwired/logic-based safety systems, and sometimes site installation and cabling. You’ll be responsible for leading a multidisciplinary team, managing budgets and timelines, and ensuring compliance with all quality, health, safety, and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead multiple projects cumulatively worth several million pounds, from inception through to delivery
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet the required quality standards
• Collaborate with production and hardware engineering teams based in Stone
• Oversee financials for all contracts, including managing subcontractors for specialist works
• Lead and motivate a team of up to 30 professionals, including project managers, engineers, and installers
• Ensure compliance with quality, environmental, health, and safety standards through collaboration with the Q, H&S Manager and project H&S Advisor
• Conduct regular progress meetings with clients, ensuring transparency and fostering strong customer relationships
• Contribute to business development by exceeding client expectations and fostering repeat business

Essential Qualifications & Experience

• 5-10 years of proven project management experience in the nuclear industry or a similar regulated sector (Electrical, Control & Instrumentation)
• Excellent customer-facing skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships
• Expertise in NEC3/4 contracting and commercial negotiation
• Demonstrated track record of meeting project deadlines, maintaining margins, and ensuring customer satisfaction
• Extensive experience managing subcontractors
• Strong leadership abilities with prior experience managing multidisciplinary teams
• A valid driving license and willingness to travel, including potential overnight stays at customer sites
• Ability to gain SC clearance as a minimum

Desirable Qualifications

Project management certification (e.g., PMI, APMP) and/or relevant training
Safety qualification (e.g., IOSH Managing Safely) and/or approved training
Experience with CEMAR
Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
