Job Title: Receptionist
Location: Kingsmeadow, Chester Business Park, Chester, Cheshire East, CH99 9FB
Pay Rate: £13.28 per hour
Contract Type: Temporary (2nd December 2024 - 31st March 2025, with potential for rotation to part-time after mid-January)

Our client, a leading property consultancy company, is seeking an experienced Receptionist to join their team at a prominent financial institution in Chester. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in a dynamic, professional environment, with on-site parking and the chance to work with a respected financial institution.

Role Overview
In this role, you will provide high-level administrative support by greeting and directing visitors, managing room bookings, handling information requests, and performing various clerical tasks. You will serve as the key contact for visitors, ensuring a seamless experience at the site.

Key Responsibilities
• Greet and direct visitors, manage security badges and the visitor log.
• Answer calls, provide information, and manage boardroom schedules.
• Handle packages and courier services.
• Provide general administrative support, including typing, filing, photocopying, and preparing mail.

Candidate Requirements
• Minimum 1 year of reception or front-of-house experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Friendly, well-presented, and confident with an ability to work independently.

Work Schedule
• Full-time, 8am-5pm with a one-hour lunch break, from 2nd December 2024 to 17th January 2025.
• After 17th January, the role transitions to part-time, working 3 days one week, 2 days the next in a rotating schedule.

Additional Details
• Contract Duration: Until 31st March 2025.
• Interview Process: One-stage, 30-minute interview via Teams.
• IR35 Status: Inside IR35.
