Job Title: Employee Relations Advisor
Location: Bury
Job Type: Permanent, expected to work full-time hours
Salary: £30,000 - £38,000 per annum
Job Description
Job Duties:
- Provide advice and guidance to managers and employees on employee relations issues
- Manage and resolve employee relations cases such as disciplinary and grievance matters
- Conduct investigations into employee complaints and allegations
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures relating to employee relations
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to promote a positive employee relations environment
Required Qualifications:
- Professional HR certification (e.g., CIPD) is desirable
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an employee relations role
- Demonstrated experience handling complex employee relations cases
Knowledge and Skills:
- Thorough understanding of UK employment laws and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Human Resources or related field
- Previous experience working in a unionised environment
Working Conditions:
- Office-based role during probation
