Location: Victoria Gardens (Notting Hill Gate), London
Contract Duration: 18 Months
Pay Rate: £18 - £19 per hour (Inside IR35)
Expected Hours: 40 hours per week (8-hour shifts, 5 days per week)
We are looking for a highly motivated Project Administrator to join a dynamic team working on the Piccadilly Line Upgrade Project (Batch D). This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong organisational skills and a proactive approach to work in a fast-paced, civil engineering and infrastructure project environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administrative Support: Work closely with the Project Engineers, Managers, and Site Staff to ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the project.
- Procurement & Financial Support: Raise and process purchase orders, liaise with accounts payable to resolve invoice issues, and assist in managing the project’s financial spend.
- Reporting & Documentation: Prepare and collate monthly project cost reports, input into client reports, and assist in timesheet management.
- Training & Logistics Coordination: Book training sessions, manage logistics, and handle all administrative duties related to the project team.
- Team Collaboration: Provide essential support to the Project Manager and Delivery team, ensuring effective communication and timely delivery of tasks.
- Health & Safety: Adhere to and promote safe work practices while understanding and managing environmental and health risks associated with the project.
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience: Previous experience in an administrative or team organiser role. Experience working on London Underground or similar transportation projects would be beneficial.
- Skills: Excellent time management and organisational skills, proficiency with MS Office, and a working knowledge of SAP is highly desirable.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Self-Motivated: Ability to work independently and take initiative with tasks.
- Team Player: You will be an integral part of the team, with a flexible approach to working in a collaborative environment.
Working Environment:
- This role is based in the Victoria Gardens office (Notting Hill Gate) with a minimum of 3 days per week in the office alongside the project team and client.
- Immediate Start: We are looking to hire quickly, so you must be available to start soon.
- Shift Schedule: 8-hour shifts, 5 days per week.
