Software Tester- SCADA

These roles will require you to be based in Warwick 5 days a week.
The requirements of the job are:

• Previous experience testing software is a must
• Previous experience with SCADA systems is a must
• Previous experience with Power-SCADA is advantageous
• Able to create test scripts documentation using a set list of requirements. Explaining the step-by-step process needed to test the requirements/functionality.
• Able to write high-level test plans
• Able to review test documents
• Must be able to test software and have good excel skills e.g. use of filtering, sorting, and data entry
• Experience with previous defect management systems e.g. Bugzilla is preferred
• The test scripts will explain what steps are taken to verify each requirement.
• In the event that a defect is found, the tester
• Must be able to detail the following accurately:
• Tests being run at the time of the defect occurring,
• Steps to reproduce defect
• Expected behaviour
• Actual behaviour
• Any other observation
• Able to review test documents
• Must be able to create a test report detailing the tests run, the pass/fail percentage, defects found during the testing and make a conclusion based on the quality of the software build.
• Contract duration 12 months.
