Morson Talent are recruiting for a Technician! This is a great opportunity for an existing technician to have a long-term role. Or if you are looking to get into the rail sector, this could be the job for you! We are working with an aesthetics Team at a live rail depot, where your expertise will make a real impact on the fleets appearance and condition.

Your Role: As an Aesthetics Technician, youll engage in a variety of essential tasks, including:
• Aesthetic Inspections: Examine units for visual defects and rectify them to ensure our fleet looks its best.
• Bodyside Repairs: Fix dents, scratches, and other damage to maintain the vehicle’s integrity.
• Painting: Perform roller and spray-painting on both interior and exterior panels, as well as underframe components.
• Replacements: Keep our fleet looking sharp with timely sticker replacements.
• Floor Repairs: Address lino and vinyl floor damage efficiently.
• Graffiti Removal: Restore surfaces to their original state, both inside and out.
• Component Replacement: Handle minor mechanical tasks, such as replacing passenger seats and window components, following Vehicle Maintenance Instructions.
• Reporting: Putting work orders on the Asset Management system.

Who Were Looking For:
The ideal candidate will possess:
• Proven experience in vehicle body repairs, preparation or painting
• Basic Mechanical / related background
• Reliability and excellent timekeeping, with a willingness to work overtime as needed.
• Strong communication skills.
• Basic computer literacy.
