My client is an Energy business who have some excciting growth plans over the next 5-years and they are looking for a motivated individual to join the team!

Their technology is already trusted by major organisations across construction, infrastructure, broadcasting, and utilities, and they’re just getting started. As they expand across the UK and internationally, in collaboration with a leading global energy technology company, this is an exciting time to join the business. Due to the expansion, they are looking for a Workshop Storesman to support operations in Matlock.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain R&D site workshop, ensuring a safe operating environment for staff, sub-contractors and visitors at all times, general housekeeping activities at the site
• Managing waste both general and recycling of metals and electrical components
• Control stock of R&D parts, organise goods inwards and outwards, logistics of deliveries and collections, inventory management of components required for concept verification
• Building prototype electrical panel assemblies, validating designs and working closely with R&D Engineers to find innovative solutions to engineering challenges
• Assisting design work by feeding into early-stage concept development through to serial production design freeze
• Responsible for arranging sub-contractors to come to site to carry out works as fitting with project timelines and other on-site events
• Work as part of a dynamic, fast-moving team to help deliver programme objectives and support with a range of tasks where required in an agile environment

Key Skills:

• Understanding of electrical safety procedures and protocols
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with team members and report on project process
• Aptitude for diagnosing electrical issues, implementing effective solutions and adapting to changing project requirements
• Demonstrable practical experience
