My client is a global developer and operator of offshore wind farms present in over 30 countries globally. They currently have a project pipeline of 20GW globally making them a market leader within the Offshore Wind industry.
They are now looking to recruit a OSS Package Manager to help support their continued growth.
As OSS Package Manager your role objective is to deliver a fully installed and commissioned asset (foundations, electrical systems, WTGs, substations, etc.) ready for handover to Operations, on time, within scope, budget, and meeting quality and HSE standards.
Responsibilities:
- Establish and lead an effective project organization, securing necessary resources, and ensuring clear scope division among team members.
- Manage the project according to the Project Management model, aligning with stakeholders and ensuring compliance with company processes, policies, and safety standards.
- Oversee design, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance, coordinating with project managers to monitor budget, schedule, and quality, as well as managing contracts.
- Identify and manage project risks, plan and execute Q- and HSE activities, and drive a strong safety culture throughout the project.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing, ensure proper documentation, and support a smooth transition to O&M.
- Support consenting processes and maintain interactions with authorities.
- Oversee the preparation, review, and approval of key project documents, ensuring adherence to quality and governance standards.
Your profile:
- University degree or a relevant Master’s degree with competence equivalent to IPMA Level A/B and/or PMI PMP certification.
- Several years of relevant project experience in an international matrix organization, ideally within the wind, oil & gas industry, civil structures, or large-scale construction.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills with fluency in German and English.
- Leadership abilities, coupled with a solid understanding of commercial principles and awareness.
