Job Title: Lab Metrologist

Job Duties:

• Perform calibration and metrology activities in a laboratory setting
• Ensure all instruments and equipment are calibrated according to industry standards
• Maintain accurate records of calibration procedures and results
• Troubleshoot and resolve any calibration issues
• Collaborate with laboratory staff to ensure quality control standards are met

Required Qualifications:

• Degree in a relevant scientific field
• Proven experience in metrology and calibration
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent problem-solving skills

Education:

Degree in a relevant scientific field

Experience:

Previous experience in metrology and calibration

Knowledge and Skills:

• Knowledge of metrology principles and practises
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills
• Proficient in using calibration software and equipment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in metrology or calibration
• Experience working in a pharmaceutical laboratory

Working Conditions:

The role is based in a laboratory environment. The Lab Metrologist may be required to work occasional overtime to meet project deadlines. Personal protective equipment will be provided.
