Morson Talent is seeking an experienced Transport Planner to join a dynamic team working on exciting urban transport planning and design projects in London. This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional looking to contribute to the development and delivery of innovative transport solutions that improve urban mobility. You will be involved in a wide range of projects, including the planning and design of transport infrastructure, and will work closely with stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the development, commissioning, and delivery of transport solutions for urban mobility projects.
- Contribute to transport infrastructure planning and design, ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
- Liaise with key stakeholders and manage relationships throughout project delivery.
- Analyze transport data and prepare technical reports to support project implementation.
- Assist in the appraisal and design of transport schemes.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
Skills & Experience:
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
- Experience in transport scheme design and appraisal.
- Solid understanding of relevant policy and guidance (e.g., DMRB, MfS).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Experience managing and delivering multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in transport modelling software and strategic transport modelling principles.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong project management skills.
- Knowledge of the UK planning system and local government operations.

- AutoCAD
- GIS software
- Transport modelling software
- Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Certifications & Qualifications:
- Full UK driving licence (essential).
- Chartered Transport Planning Professional (CTPP) or working towards it (desirable).
