Lead SAP BYD Specialist

Remote with the ability to travel between London, France, Italy, Germany & Canada as required.

Responsible for the SAP BYD/ SAP ECC Migration

Main Responsibilities
Specific duties include:
• Collaborate with SI and PMO teams to drive the technical roadmap, ensuring resource allocation and timelines meet project milestones.
• Coordinate and supervision the SI technical teams to ensure on time delivery, with the expected quality
• Verify system configurations, contributing to the test and validation phases
• Identify and mitigate technical risks early, reducing downtime and ensuring business continuity.
• Contribute in developing and implementing the data migration strategies, ensuring high accuracy, minimal data loss, and alignment with the existing infrastructure.
• Support the data migrations execution, leading the data validation phase
• Analyse and address technical dependencies, managing integrations with, BI systems, and other critical applications.
• address cross-country compatibility and scalability
• Lead technical change initiatives to support the seamless migration and integration of systems across 9 countries.
• Oversee technical documentation and knowledge transfer to local IT teams for sustainable, long-term management.

Essential Requirements
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in SAP BYD implementations, with extensive expertise in data migration, configuration, and cross-system integration.
• In-depth understanding of multi-country ERP system migrations, including experience with regulatory and technical requirements in diverse regions.
• Proficient in customizing SAP BYD interfaces to adapt to unique business needs across stakeholders and regions.
• Strong troubleshooting abilities with a proactive approach to issue resolution, especially in cross-functional, multi-stakeholder environments.
• Strong collaborative skills for working within SI-led environments, able to lead technically within large, cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in computer science, Information Systems, or related technical field.
• SAP ByDesign certification desired additional SAP ECC or related certifications are beneficial.
