Position Details
Reports To: Senior Supplier Quality Engineer
Hours of Work: Flexi (Monday to Friday)
Travel Requirements: Domestic - 30%, International - 30%

Education Requirements
- Minimum: GCSE/A Levels
- Preferred: Manufacturing Engineering Degree

Position Summary
The Supplier Quality team ensures that supplier processes, products, and services meet quality standards, safety regulations, and contractual obligations. Working closely with the Quality, Purchasing, and Engineering teams, the Supplier Quality Engineer will evaluate and monitor external providers, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001:2015.

Core Responsibilities
- Verify supplier adherence to manufacturing, packaging, documentation, and operational processes.
- Conduct supplier audits to assess process compliance and impact on quality standards.
- Monitor and verify supplier conformance with approved methods, processes, and equipment.
- Oversee supplier qualifications and performance evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with engineering and regulatory requirements, including First Article Inspection and Critical Parts Plan.
- Drive supplier quality performance through methodologies such as Process Capability, Measurement Capability (MSA), PFMEA, Control Plans, APQP, and continuous product quality improvement.
- Establish and enforce material and process non-conformance procedures, including containment, Root Cause Analysis, and corrective actions.
- Verify supplier compliance with established non-conformance procedures.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and ensure timely implementation of corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, including quality, health and safety, and legal standards.
- Develop supplier KPIs and initiate corrective actions for non-adherence.
- Maintain supplier quality records and verify Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) documents.
- Maintain strong supplier relationships and promote quality improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Knowledge
- Experience managing Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes.
- Ability to work within a matrix business organization.
- SAP experience preferred.

Leadership & Collaboration
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate with production engineering and office staff at all levels.
- Maintain clear communication with internal teams and suppliers to ensure smooth operations.
- Provide practical support and guidance to colleagues.
- Develop trusted relationships to drive business objectives.
