Facilities Management Operative

The Facilities Management Operative will ensure smooth operations of site by providing excellent customer service and liaising with employees and contractors.

Role Summary:

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
> Managing internal/external post on site.
> Conducting and recording inductions for contractors and visitors.
> Coordinating with the CBRE team and contractors to resolve issues and complete reactive jobs.
> Conducting site inspections and escalating concerns to the Regional Manager.
> Representing Facilities Management on-site and ensuring high customer service.
> Escalating building or service concerns to the UKPN team.
> Performing minor fabric repairs (e.g., tightening door handles, adjusting monitor arms).
> Performing minor electrical tasks (e.g., replacing fuses, checking power supplies).
> Performing minor plumbing tasks (e.g., unblocking toilets, isolating water).
> Making HVAC adjustments.
> Assisting with Fire Alarm tests.

Person Specifications:
The FM Operative should maintain a professional appearance and approach, be proactive, and address issues dynamically while working within their competencies.
