Technical Architect - £70k - North Yorkshire / Hybrid

The Bridge IT have partnered with a leading MSP to recruit a Technical Architect. Our client are currently undergoing a huge period of growth, and therefore are looking to expand their team.

The Role:

This is a key role in shaping, designing, and delivering complex technical solutions using modern methodologies, frameworks, and best practices.

You will be responsible for theend-to-end architectureof software solutions, ensuring they are robust, scalable, and aligned with business needs. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving innovation, leading technical discussions, and mentoring developers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver high-quality technical solutions that align with business and customer requirements.
  • Own the architecture, implementation, and delivery of complex software solutions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, prioritise, and refine requirements.
  • Lead and contribute to thetechnical designof solutions using Agile methodologies.
  • Select the appropriate tools, technologies, and frameworks to ensure the best outcomes.
  • Provide architectural input intoHigh-Level and Low-Level Designs (HLD & LLD), cost estimations, and documentation.
  • Promote best practices inDevOps, Continuous Integration (CI), and Continuous Delivery (CD).
  • Mentor developers, conduct code reviews, and champion engineering excellence.
  • Ensure solutions meetnon-functional requirementssuch as security, scalability, performance, and maintainability.

Required Skills:

  • Extensive experience insoftware developmentand delivering complex, enterprise-grade applications.
  • Strong expertise in.NET and related frameworks(knowledge of front-end development is a plus).
  • Deep understanding ofCloud-based architectures(preferably Azure).
  • Proven track record inAgile/DevOps environments, with knowledge of CI/CD best practices.
  • Ability to design scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions.
  • Strong leadership, mentoring, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with the confidence to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
