 I am contacting you as we are currently looking for Fabricators to start at GKN in Filton Bristol on a Permanent Basis.

Salary for Core Days Skilled without Stamp is £35,304.00 rising to £36,750.00 per Anum with Stamp (after 12 weeks plus) a 4% bonus scheme. The contracted hours are 35 per week with possible overtime

We’re seeking Skilled Fabricators to work with advanced materials and industry-leading equipment, contributing to the production of world-class aircraft parts.

How You’ll Contribute

  • Work with materials including titanium, aluminium, and stainless steel for Airbus aircraft.
  • Produce parts with a ‘right first time’ approach.
  • Clear work phases promptly using the SAP system.
  • Highlight non-conformances to the Process Team Leader.
  • Adhere to GKN Aerospace’s Quality and Health & Safety procedures.
  • Maintain first-party inspection approval (subject to A Stamp certification).
  • Ensure excellent housekeeping and compliance with risk assessments.

What You’ll Bring

  • Recognised apprenticeship and NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent).
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to follow standard operating procedures and collaborate in small teams.
  • Self-motivation, teamwork, and strong communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles.
  • Experience operating CNC machinery and swaging pipework.
