The Role

As a Senior Automation Engineer, you will:

• Identify and implement automation opportunities to boost safety, quality, and productivity.
• Drive automation in product design, manufacturing, and testing processes.
• Lead cross-functional teams in delivering automation projects from concept to completion.
• Develop and refine work instructions for automated processes.
• Use structured problem-solving techniques to troubleshoot and optimize production challenges.

About You

To succeed in this role, you’ll need:

• A MSc/MEng or equivalent in automation, optical, or laser systems.
• Proven experience with automated assembly and mounting processes for optical systems.
• Expertise in manufacturing productivity control and process improvement.
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
