As a Senior Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems for both new and existing equipment. You will ensure compliance with key industry standards and produce electrical design outputs in line with project requirements, playing a critical role in the success of key projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop electrical systems for new and existing equipment
• Create electrical design outputs that align with project specifications and requirements
• Ensure adherence to industry standards such as the Machinery Directive and ATEX Directive
• Provide innovative engineering solutions to complex design challenges
• Perform hand calculations to verify the suitability of designs
• Effectively manage workloads and prioritize tasks to meet tight project deadlines
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure project success

Candidate Skills:

• Degree-qualified in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
• Proven experience in electrical/mechanical equipment design and manufacture
• Demonstrated success in the design development of new products and technologies
• Proficiency in 2D CAD Systems (knowledge of 3D CAD Systems, Autodesk Inventor, and NORSOK Standards is a bonus but not essential)
• Strong understanding of Electrical Design Engineering principles and industry standards
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage conflicting workloads and meet strict deadlines
• A self-motivated individual with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work under pressure
