Risk Manager (all levels)

We are currently looking for Risk Managers of all levels to join a nuclear new build project in Suffolk.

This role is located in London offering hybrid working for 2/3 days per day and occasional travel to the Sizewell C site required.

The purpose of the role is to support risk management within a local SZC programme/ similar, assist with compliance with SZC’s PMO risk management direction, and genuinely help safeguard the programme area from major overruns.

Knowledge & Skills
Essential
• Some facilitation skills able to help facilitate workshops within programme under direction of more senior risk professionals.
• Some technical skills able to help deliver QRAs, spanning Cost QRAs and Schedule QRAs under direction of more senior risk professionals.
o Some linked capability to integrate/ support project controls/ project delivery/ business support processes (e.g. Finance)
• Some engagement skills able to engage teams under direction of more senior risk professionals. These to include:
o Range of project and corporate professionals
Desirable
• Some project management and broader project controls experience desirable.

Qualifications & Experience
Essential
• Relevant sector experience/ broader sector experience
Desirable
• Possible risk management/ other technical/ capital-intensive sector-specific management qualifications
o Some client/ contactor/ consultancy/ government experience
o Some major project/ corporate experience
