About the Role

Based in Chatham, you’ll be a pivotal part of a high-performing team working on cutting-edge Nitrate Reduction Schemes for Southern Water. Your mission: to translate innovative designs into reality, manage procurement processes, and oversee seamless supply chain coordination. This is your chance to shape critical infrastructure while growing professionally in a dynamic and rewarding environment.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Safety First: Champion safe working practices, adhering to industry standards and company procedures.
  • Design Leadership: Coordinate and deliver high-quality electrical designs on schedule and within scope.
  • Project Oversight: Monitor and report progress to MEICA and commissioning managers.
  • Subcontract Management: Provide technical input and manage subcontractors during project close-out phases.
  • Procurement Expertise: Drive supplier specifications, tender reviews, and scope of works.
  • Technical Reviews: Assess critical documents like FDS, P&IDs, control philosophies, and telemetry requirements.

What You Bring

  • Expertise in water and wastewater treatment processes.
  • Proven project management experience and a strong grasp of CDM and design principles.
  • Significant electrical engineering experience supported by HNC/HND or a degree in a relevant discipline.
  • A creative mindset with the adaptability to solve complex problems.
  • SMSTS qualification is essential.
