Morson International is seeking a skilled Health & Safety Manager to join one of Europe’s leading nuclear energy projects in the UK. This role presents an exciting opportunity to influence and uphold health and safety standards on a large-scale, high-impact project. As part of a collaborative, innovative team, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving safety, quality, and compliance in a regulated environment, working closely with stakeholders to ensure best practices are implemented across the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
Collaboration and Expertise: Engage with Health & Safety Advisors and other stakeholders as a subject matter expert, ensuring effective communication and best practices throughout the organisation.
Safety Standards and Oversight: Deliver high-quality health and safety support, guidance, and oversight, promoting a culture of safety in all project activities.
Compliance and Advisory: Provide comprehensive advice and expertise to guarantee all operations meet stringent HSSE legislation and compliance standards.
Unified Approach: Support colleagues in the Health & Safety team to foster a cohesive, “One Team” environment, ensuring consistent safety standards across the project.
Key Requirements
Education: HNC or equivalent in a relevant technical discipline.
Certifications and Memberships: Current understanding of CDM Regulations, minimum NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate (or NVQ Level 3). IOSH membership is desirable, along with an IEMA Foundation Certificate in Environmental Management.
Experience: Extensive experience as an HSE Professional in a regulated, operational project environment, with expertise in contractor management and incident investigation/reporting.
