Job Specification: NEC4 ECC Supervisor

Our Client seeks an experienced NEC4 ECC Supervisor to join the Stockport team, managing major highways and transportation projects from construction to handover.

Role:

• Collaborate with NEC4 Project Manager and Client Project Manager for timely, budget-aligned delivery per Contract.
• Supervise construction activities to ensure compliance with project specs and quality standards.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and project management.
• Conduct site inspections, attend site meetings, and maintain accurate site records.
• Prepare and submit regular progress reports.
• Ensure contractual compliance and assist in managing change orders and compensation events.
• Supervise contractors and verify valuations for completed works.

Requirements:

• Experience with local authority schemes in Greater Manchester.
• Supervision of contractors on highways and transportation infrastructure projects.
• Ability to manage multiple projects (up to five) with values from £100k to £5m.
• Relevant NEC contract and/or professional qualifications.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build effective relationships.
• Knowledge of CDM, health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Driving Licence and business insurance.
• CSCS Card or NEBOSH certification.

Details:

• Full-time role (40 hours/week) from September 2024 to March 2025, then part-time (3 days/week) until September 2025.
• Possible evening or weekend work.
