Overview:
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a leading construction and civil engineering project as a Utilities Coordinator. Based in Aylesbury, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the timely delivery of statutory undertakers’ work while meeting stakeholder requirements. This position offers a dynamic, collaborative environment where you will liaise with construction teams, design managers, and other key stakeholders to meet project demands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the interface between design and construction teams, statutory undertakers, and stakeholders.
- Support design assurance processes and ensure compliance with engineering and assurance plans.
- Identify and mitigate risks through early warnings and change control processes.
- Provide guidance on aligning assurance deliverables with client requirements.
- Collaborate with the delivery team to ensure readiness for the completion process.
- Monitor design reviews and ensure adherence to the project’s requirements.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Degree in Project Management, Civil Engineering, Commercial Management, or equivalent experience.
- Certifications:
- SMSTS
- EUSR Service Avoidance (Category 1 & 2 or NVQ Level 2 in Utility Avoidance and Buried Services)
- EUSR Category 2 or NRSWA Location and Avoidance of Underground Services
- In-depth knowledge of:
- HS2 Act, Assurance & PPA’s
- Utility Regulations for design, construction, and connection works
- CDM Principal Designer role
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Full UK driving license is mandatory.
