Job Title: Engineering Piping Draughtsman

Job Duties:

• Prepare detailed piping and instrumentation drawings based on project requirements
• Create accurate and clear piping layouts, isometrics, and schematics
• Collaborate with engineers and designers to ensure compliance with project specifications
• Revise and update drawings as necessary throughout the project lifecycle
• Ensure all drawings adhere to industry standards and regulations

Required Qualifications:

• Diploma or equivalent qualification in Engineering or related field
• Demonstrated experience in drafting and designing piping systems
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant software
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Education:

Diploma or equivalent in Engineering or related field

Experience:

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in drafting and designing piping systems

Knowledge and Skills:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other drafting software
• Strong understanding of piping system design principles
• Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
• Additional certifications in piping design or drafting
• Experience in the engineering or construction industry

Working Conditions:

The role is primarily office-based, working standard full-time hours. Some travel to project sites may be required. The individual will work closely with engineers, designers, and project managers.
