T&I Site Manager

Our client Scottish Power Renewables are currently recruiting for a T&I Site Manager to join their team based in Lowestoft on a contract basis initially. Ideally for this role they are looking for an experienced Site Manager who has experience with Monopiles and a background in offshore wind or subsea. For more information on this role see below:

Main Purpose of Job
Site Manager role is to support the FT&I Package on East Anglia 3 project delivery. This role reports to the Package Manager.

Key Tasks
- Supervision of contractor works and management of the duties of client representatives at contractors premisses or onboard installation vessels
- Review & Management of Contractor RAMS, Engineering Plans, Technical Queries.
- Review approval and management of change of contractors procedures and engineering studies and analysis.
- Coordination of permit to works and vessel activities at the offshore site.
- Attendance of daily coordination calls with contractors and client construction team
- Review of Daily Progress Reports (DPRs)
Assist the Installation Manager in managing the Marine Warranty Surveyor approval process
- Review and approval of the as-built records
- Provide support to the quality manager to ensure satisfactory close out of NCRs relating to Transport and Installation.

In addition to the core responsibilities and accountabilities the site manager may be delegated additional responsibilities for health and safety management, planning, development of departmental procedures and reporting.

Key Criteria
- Degree in relevant engineering discipline, quantity surveyor or equivalent industry experience
- Minimum 3 years experience in offshore wind or subsea discipline related to foundations
- Demonstratable experience in WTG Foundations and Installation Engineering (Heavy Lift, JUV, DP vessels, Bolting and Grouting)
