We are seeking experienced Corrosion Pipework Technicians to join our team at Sizewell B power station for a 6-8 month contract.
This role will require site-based work 5 days per week working 1 weekend per month.
The successful candidates will have previous experience in piping, corrosion, or erosion work, and be familiar with a range of maintenance and refurbishment tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct corrosion control and maintenance activities on various plant systems, including non-reactor areas.
Perform coating, painting, stripping, scraping, and wire cleaning on ducting, pipe tunnels, outlet pipework, and cable trays.
Focus on structural cat 1 corrosion in plant room intake and associated areas.
Inspect and maintain pipework, ensuring systems meet operational and safety standards.
Work within plant room intake, ducting, and structural components to identify, treat, and prevent corrosion and erosion.
Ensure compliance with all safety standards and regulations.
Qualifications and Experience:
Proven experience in piping, corrosion, or erosion roles, particularly in industrial or power plant environments.
Knowledge of corrosion control techniques and equipment.
Strong experience in working with ducting, pipe tunnels, outlet pipework, and structural corrosion.
Ability to work in a team and follow safety protocols.
Previous experience at nuclear power stations or similar environments is an advantage.

The role requires working in various conditions, including confined spaces and elevated positions.
