HR Business Partner Manager

|
London, Greater London, England

We have an exciting opportunity for an HR Business Partner for our client to join their team in London.

This is a senior role, suiting someone with a strong HR knowledge and particularly a strong ability to drive project plans forward. This role presents a fantastic opportunity to join Sizewell C and it’s HR function at a key stage of development and a rare opportunity to work on a major infrastructure programme which is pivotal to ensuring the UK’s energy security. With a growing team, there could be opportunities available at the end of the fixed-term period.
Our HR team is set up to work flexibly, with a hybrid working approach between our offices and your home. We provide a full suite of IT equipment to ensure that our employees can work from home comfortably and effectively, so long as you’re able to travel to the office to collaborate with your team and stakeholders 2-3 days per week.

The Role
Reporting to the Head of HR Business Partnering, this role will also work closely with the existing HR Business Partner Managers who each lead a team of HR Business Partners supporting Sizewell C’s Delivery or Functional teams, predominantly based across London and Suffolk. You will help to deliver the HR objectives, growth and priorities in line with the Business plan and support HR strategy whilst considering the context of a major construction project. Sizewell C is a rapidly evolving business and as such, you will need to be someone who can operate in an ambiguous environment that is under-going constant change.
Given the growth within Sizewell C, the main areas of focus across the HR team will be on the creation and population of the growing organisation, change management, process innovation, upskilling leaders and supporting ongoing performance and talent management of the workforce.
You’ll be in a high profile and high impact role that sits within the heart of the growing Sizewell C team. The work of the HR team is critical to the success of the project and this role provides a great opportunity to be creative - creating the processes and practices and employment model for the future.

The Skills
Ideally you will have experience in an environment with a similar fast pace and of a start-up/new subsidiary nature.
The role would suit a seasoned HR professional someone with a proven ability to deliver high quality HR generalist support and projects, including extensive knowledge of appropriate employment law and HR best practices. Prior TUPE and IR35 experience would be beneficial but not essential.
You would bring a blend of relationship management expertise, strong business acumen, and the ability to lead through influence. You are adept at navigating complex challenges within a matrixed environment and your interpersonal skills and consultative approach mean you can engage stakeholders at all levels.
If the above sounds like you then we’d love to hear from you! Apply Today. Take your next career step and make a real impact.

Power in Diversity

By valuing the different points of view and experiences that having a diverse team brings, and by fostering an inclusive climate, we will create a great place to work and a more successful project.
We create the right environment where people feel able to bring their whole selves to work. Whilst working together there is mutual trust and appreciation created through the building of meaningful relationships with one another, aligned with our key values:
